Everyday laptop with Intel Core 5 120U

The ASUS Vivobook 14 F1404VAP-QB51-PK is a 14.0 inch non-touch laptop in pink, built around an Intel Core 5 120U processor. It ships with 8GB of memory and a 512GB SSD running Windows 11 Home. The 180 degree lay-flat hinge and physical webcam shield support flexible work setups, while ASUS Antimicrobial Guard Plus treats high-contact surfaces.

Fast charging and WiFi 6E connectivity

A low battery reaches 60 percent in 49 minutes, reducing downtime between sessions. Wireless connectivity up to WiFi 6E loads online content quickly. The three-sided slim-bezel NanoEdge display offers wide viewing angles for consistent visual quality during typical office, study or streaming tasks.

Sustained workloads on integrated graphics

The Intel Core 5 120U handles extended document editing, web browsing and media playback within its thermal envelope. Fan noise remains present but controlled during long sessions. The 512GB SSD maintains steady read and write speeds for large file transfers, while the 8GB memory capacity sets a fixed limit for concurrent heavy applications.

Questions about this item

How do I open the 180 degree lay-flat hinge on the Vivobook 14 without forcing it?

Grip the base firmly with one hand and lift the lid from the centre edge; the hinge stops cleanly at 180 degrees so do not push past the natural stop.

When will the 512 GB SSD need replacement under normal use?

The 512 GB SSD has no moving parts and typically lasts the usable life of the laptop; replacement is only needed if capacity runs out or a hardware fault occurs.

How long can I run the Intel Core 5 120U at full load before the battery hits 60 percent?

Fast charging restores a low battery to 60 percent in 49 minutes, but sustained full-load runtime varies with workload and screen brightness.
