PCIe 5.0 x16 card adds four M.2 slots (2242/2260/2280/22110) with active cooling and up to 512 Gbps bandwidth for NVMe drives
This ASUS expansion card adds four M.2 Key M slots to a desktop system. It accepts drives in 2242, 2260, 2280 and 22110 lengths and runs them over a PCIe 5.0 x16 link rated at up to 512 Gbps. The board is built on a server-grade PCB and includes an active fan, heatsink and thermal pads to keep temperatures low during sustained transfers. It is suited to users who need high-capacity, high-speed local storage on AMD or Intel platforms that support RAID across the installed drives.
The number of drives that can operate simultaneously depends on the processor’s available PCIe lanes and the motherboard’s bifurcation settings. Consult the manufacturer’s compatibility list and FAQ 1037507 to confirm how many slots your specific CPU and board combination will activate. A free PCIe 5.0 x16 slot is required, plus a 6-pin PCIe power cable from the power supply to feed the card’s two-phase 14-watt delivery system. The card measures 29 by 12.2 by 1.5 centimetres, so verify physical clearance in your chassis.
Once installed, the card occupies a single full-height PCIe 5.0 x16 slot and connects its onboard fan to a motherboard chassis-fan header for speed control. Four activity LEDs give at-a-glance drive status, and a hardware switch lets you disable the fan if desired. By consolidating up to four NVMe drives on one card, it frees motherboard M.2 sockets for other uses and enables bootable RAID arrays without additional controllers. The assembly is designed for continuous operation in workstations or servers that demand sustained throughput.

The card includes four M.2 slots (Key M) for 2242, 2260, 2280 and 22110 drives, a large heatsink with thermal pads, an active fan, and a 6-pin PCIe power connector. You must supply your own PCIe 5.0 or 4.0 NVMe SSDs.
Match the length to your SSD: 2242 is 42 mm, 2260 is 60 mm, 2280 is 80 mm and 22110 is 110 mm. The card accepts all four sizes simultaneously so pick the length that fits each drive you own.
It represents the maximum aggregate bandwidth across the PCIe 5.0 x16 link when four PCIe 5.0 NVMe drives are populated and the CPU and motherboard support full bifurcation. Actual throughput depends on your platform configuration.
