ASUS MAXIMUS VIII RANGER LGA 1151 Intel Z170 DDR4 64GB ATX Intel motherboard

Socket LGA 1151 Z170 ATX motherboard

This ASUS MAXIMUS VIII RANGER board is a new ATX motherboard built on the Intel Z170 chipset for LGA 1151 processors. It supports DDR4 memory up to 64 GB and provides a standard ATX layout for desktop builds.

For 6th- and 7th-generation Intel Core builders

It suits builders assembling or repairing a system around a compatible LGA 1151 CPU who need four DDR4 slots and Z170 overclocking features. It is not for buyers whose processor requires a different socket or chipset, nor for compact builds that demand a smaller form factor.

64 GB DDR4 maximum capacity

The decisive specification is the 64 GB DDR4 memory ceiling across four slots; if your workload requires more memory than this limit, you must choose a different platform.
