Intel P67 ATX motherboard with LGA 1155 socket supporting up to 32GB DDR3, includes SATA cable and I/O shield
The ASUS P8P67 PRO is an ATX motherboard built on the Intel P67 chipset with an LGA 1155 socket. It accepts DDR3 memory up to 32GB and targets builders assembling or repairing systems for this platform.
The board uses standard ATX power delivery for the P67 chipset and LGA 1155 processors. Normal operation stays within the thermal envelope of the chipset and socket without additional cooling requirements beyond typical case airflow.
It replaces a failed or missing LGA 1155 motherboard in an existing build. The jump is worth it when the current board no longer posts, lacks needed SATA ports, or cannot reach the 32GB memory ceiling.

Mount the board on standoffs matching the ATX hole pattern, connect the 24-pin and CPU power cables, then fit the supplied I/O back panel before securing the board.
The metal battery on the board will eventually lose charge and should be swapped for a new cell to keep BIOS settings.
The chipset and voltage regulators can become the thermal bottleneck during long heavy workloads.
