Pool Reel Cover 16 ft Round

This protective cover fits solar blanket reels up to 16 feet in diameter for above-ground and inground pools. It shields the rolled blanket from UV radiation, wind, rain, hail, dust and dirt to extend its service life. The cover is made from 210T waterproof, anti-UV polyester that resists fading, shrinking and deformation over long-term outdoor exposure. It is designed for pool owners who need durable, all-weather protection for their solar reel.

Installation in One Minute

The cover installs within one minute using a heavy-duty closure, drawstring and velcro tape for a secure fit around the reel. Its collapsible design allows it to be folded up for compact storage when not in use. No tools or permanent fixtures are required, so any pool owner can fit or remove it quickly. Buyers who need a cover for rectangular reels or sizes larger than 16 feet will find this model unsuitable.

Material 210T Polyester

The single specification that decides fit is the 16-foot round reel compatibility combined with the 210T woven polyester construction. This material grade provides the waterproof, anti-UV barrier that prevents the solar blanket from degrading in sunlight and harsh weather. If your reel exceeds the 16-foot diameter or uses a non-round shape, this cover will not provide the intended protection.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the cover is protecting the solar blanket correctly after I put it on?

The cover should wrap snugly around the rolled blanket on the reel with the drawstring and Velcro tape fastened, leaving no gaps for UV rays, wind or dust to enter.

What comes in the box and what must I supply myself?

The package contains the 210T polyester protective cover with drawstring and Velcro closures; you must provide the solar blanket and the reel it rolls onto.

Which size should I choose for my round pool?

Select the version that matches your reel width up to 16 feet round; the cover is designed to fit reels of that diameter.
