Ready-to-play gaming desktop

This ASUS Prime AP202 system ships fully assembled with Windows 11 Home installed and tested for immediate use. It combines an AMD Ryzen 7 9700X 8-core processor at 3.8GHz with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card carrying 12GB GDDR7 memory. The platform is built on the AM5 socket and includes 128GB of DDR5 RAM across four slots. Buyers who need a compact form factor or a lower-power build should look elsewhere.

Core components and expansion

The 4TB NVMe SSD provides the primary storage volume, while SATA III ports remain available for additional drives. A PCI Express x16 slot hosts the RTX 5070, and the motherboard offers four DDR5 slots, all populated in this configuration. An 850W power supply delivers energy to the CPU, GPU and 360mm liquid cooler. Component brands may vary from the images shown. Builders who require a second graphics card or more than four memory modules cannot use this platform.

Cooling, acoustics and power

A 360mm liquid cooler manages heat from the Ryzen 7 9700X under sustained loads, allowing the 850W unit to run within its capacity during typical gaming sessions. The closed-loop design keeps fan speeds lower than equivalent air coolers at similar thermal output. Power draw scales with the 12GB GDDR7 GPU and 128GB DDR5 array, so the supply operates with headroom for the configured parts. Users who prefer silent operation at idle will still hear pump and fan noise.

Questions about this item

Will the Ryzen 7 9700X hit thermal limits under sustained all-core workloads with the 360 mm liquid cooler?

The 360 mm liquid cooler is sized to handle the 8-core 9700X at its 3.8 GHz base frequency during extended all-core loads, keeping the processor within its thermal envelope.

How loud and hot does the system get when the RTX 5070 and CPU run flat-out for hours?

The 360 mm liquid cooler and 850 W power supply are designed to dissipate heat from both the 9700X and RTX 5070 during prolonged maximum-load sessions, minimising fan noise and chassis temperature.

Do I need to buy any extra cables, drives or adapters before this PC can boot and run games?

The unit ships with Windows 11 Home pre-installed on the 4 TB NVMe SSD, 128 GB DDR5 already populated, and an 850 W PSU connected, so no additional internal parts are required to start gaming.
