Core Ultra 9 285K 24-core desktop

This ASUS Prime AP202 is a pre-built gaming desktop powered by an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor with 24 cores running at 5.7GHz. It targets enthusiasts who want a complete, liquid-cooled system ready for 4K gaming and heavy multitasking without assembling parts themselves. The 1200W power supply supports the high-end components inside.

Upgrade from air-cooled or mid-range builds

The 360mm liquid cooler replaces standard air cooling to handle the Core Ultra 9 285K thermal output under sustained loads. Moving to an RTX 5090 with 32GB GDDR7 VRAM is worth it when current 8GB or 16GB cards limit texture quality or frame rates in modern titles. The 64GB DDR5 kit removes memory capacity as a bottleneck for content creation workflows.

High-wattage platform with full-slot layout

The LGA 1851 motherboard provides four DDR5 slots, all populated, leaving no free slots for future memory expansion. A PCI Express x16 slot hosts the RTX 5090, while the 2TB NVMe SSD occupies a primary M.2 position. Builders needing additional SATA III drives or extra NVMe storage must verify available headers and physical space inside the chassis.

Questions about this item

Will a 360 mm liquid cooler fit inside the ASUS Prime AP202 chassis?

The system ships with a 360 mm liquid cooler already installed, so the chassis is designed to accommodate that exact radiator size.

How do I install the ASUS Prime AP202 and what step do buyers often miss?

Remove all internal shipping brackets, connect the monitor to the RTX 5090 video outputs, then plug in power and press the front button; many forget to switch the 1200 W PSU from its shipping position to ON.

When will the liquid cooler on this AP202 need maintenance or replacement?

A sealed 360 mm AIO typically runs 4–6 years before pump wear or coolant loss requires a full unit swap; no user refilling is needed.
