System Overview

This ASUS Prime AP202 desktop pairs a 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X running at 4.3GHz with an RTX 5090 carrying 32GB of GDDR7 memory. It targets enthusiasts who need maximum single-thread speed and graphics throughput for 4K gaming or content creation. The 360mm liquid cooler and 1200W supply support sustained heavy loads out of the box.

Platform Limits

The AM5 socket accepts one processor, so the installed 9950X cannot be joined by a second CPU. Four DDR5 slots are all populated with 32GB total, leaving no room for extra memory without removing modules. The single PCI Express x16 link is occupied by the RTX 5090, blocking any additional full-length card. Storage uses one 2TB NVMe drive; SATA III ports remain for extra drives.

Pre-Order Checks

Verify that your case or desk space fits a 360mm radiator and a full-size graphics card. Confirm the 1200W unit’s cables match your regional mains plug and that the PSU connectors suit any extra drives you plan to add. Ensure your monitor cable matches the RTX 5090 outputs and that Windows 11 Home meets your licensing needs.
