Prime AP202 system purpose

The ASUS Prime AP202 is a pre-built gaming desktop built around an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 16-core processor running at 4.7GHz and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card with 12GB GDDR7 memory. It targets enthusiasts who want a liquid-cooled Windows 11 machine ready for high-refresh 1440p or entry 4K play without assembling parts themselves. Buyers who need more than 4TB of fast storage or a second graphics card should look elsewhere.

Bundled cooler and software impact

A 360mm liquid cooler handles the 9800X3D thermals so the CPU can sustain its 4.7GHz base clock during extended sessions. The 64GB DDR5 kit fills all four memory slots, leaving no room for future RAM upgrades without replacing modules. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed and the system ships tested, so the only software task is personal configuration. Component brands may vary from the images shown.

Compatibility checks before ordering

Verify that your display has a PCI Express x16 compatible input such as HDMI or DisplayPort to match the RTX 5070 outputs. Ensure your desk or floor space can accommodate a mid-tower chassis with a 360mm radiator mounted internally. Confirm your mains outlet can supply an 850W power supply under load. The board uses an AM5 socket and SATA III ports for any additional drives you may add later.

Questions about this item

Will the 360 mm liquid cooler on the Ryzen 7 9800X3D need refilling or pump replacement over time?

The 360 mm liquid cooler is a sealed all-in-one unit; no refilling is required and the pump is rated for continuous operation over the system's lifetime.

Which component hits its limit first during extended 4K gaming sessions on the RTX 5070?

The 12 GB GDDR7 frame buffer on the RTX 5070 will saturate before the 16-core Ryzen 7 9800X3D or the 850 W power supply reach their ceilings.

How loud and hot does the AP202 get when the 850 W supply runs the CPU and GPU at full load all day?

The 360 mm radiator keeps the 9800X3D near 4.7 GHz with fan speeds that stay in the low-decibel range, while the 850 W unit runs well within its thermal headroom.
