Ready-to-game desktop

This ASUS Prime AP202 system pairs a 16-core AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D running at 4.7 GHz with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 carrying 16 GB of GDDR7 memory. It arrives with 64 GB of DDR5 RAM and a 4 TB NVMe SSD, pre-installed with Windows 11 Home. The build targets enthusiasts who want high-frame-rate 4K gaming and content-creation headroom without assembling parts themselves.

Sustained-load behaviour with 360 mm liquid cooling

A 360 mm all-in-one liquid cooler handles the CPU so clock speeds stay stable during long gaming sessions or render jobs. The 1000 W power supply feeds both the 16-core processor and the RTX 5080 without throttling. Wi-Fi and RGB lighting are integrated, and the chassis is designed for airflow that supports continuous heavy workloads.

Compatibility checks before ordering

Verify that your monitor provides the display inputs required by the RTX 5080 and that your desk space fits a full-tower desktop chassis. Confirm your mains outlet can deliver sufficient current for a 1000 W unit. The four DDR5 slots are fully populated, so future memory upgrades would require replacing existing modules. Ensure any peripheral or storage additions you plan use SATA III or NVMe interfaces supported by the motherboard.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 360 mm liquid cooler and 1000 W power supply dissipate when the Ryzen 7 9800X3D and RTX 5080 run all day?

The 360 mm liquid cooler is designed to handle the thermal output of the 16 core Ryzen 7 9800X3D, while the 1000 W supply provides headroom for the RTX 5080 and other components under sustained load.

Which peripherals must I already own to use this system out of the box?

You will need a display with a compatible video input, plus a keyboard and mouse; the PC includes WiFi and Windows 11 Home so no separate network card or OS licence is required.

Can I keep my existing SATA III hard drives alongside the 4 TB NVMe SSD?

Yes, the motherboard provides SATA III ports so older SATA drives can be installed alongside the 4 TB NVMe boot drive.
