ASUS Prime AP202 Desktop

The ASUS Prime AP202 is a liquid-cooled gaming desktop built around an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D 16-core processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card. It targets enthusiasts who want a pre-assembled Windows 11 system ready for 4K gaming and heavy multitasking without component selection.

360mm liquid cooling and connectivity

A 360mm liquid cooler manages heat from the 4.3GHz CPU during sustained loads. The 1200W power supply feeds the RTX 5090 and 64GB of DDR5 memory across four slots. Wireless networking and RGB lighting are integrated, while a 4TB NVMe SSD and SATA III support provide fast primary storage and expansion options.

Upgrade from air-cooled mid-tower

This system replaces older air-cooled desktops that struggle with modern thermal densities and limited PCI Express bandwidth. The jump is worth it when your current build cannot feed a 32GB GDDR7 GPU or saturate a 4TB NVMe drive during content creation workloads.

Questions about this item

What does the PCI Express x16 interface mean for the RTX 5090's performance?

The PCI Express x16 interface gives the RTX 5090 full bandwidth for the 32GB GDDR7 memory, so the GPU can move textures and frame data without a bottleneck.

How much space does the 360 mm liquid cooler require inside the AP202 case?

The 360 mm radiator needs a 360 mm mounting area with clearance for three 120 mm fans, so the AP202 chassis must support a front or top 360 mm radiator bracket.

Does the system arrive with Windows 11 already activated, or is there a first-boot setup step?

Windows 11 Home ships pre-installed and pre-activated; the only first-boot step is the standard out-of-box experience for region, keyboard and network.
