Built for high-refresh 4K play

This ASUS Prime AP202 White desktop pairs an AMD Ryzen 7 9700X eight-core processor at 3.8GHz with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card carrying 16GB GDDR7 memory. It targets gamers and creators who need strong single-thread speed plus modern ray-tracing hardware in a ready-to-run Windows 11 Home system. The 128GB DDR5 kit and 2TB NVMe SSD provide ample headroom for large texture packs and project files.

360mm liquid loop keeps thermals steady

A 360mm all-in-one cooler handles the Ryzen 7 9700X heat output while the RTX 5080 runs on its stock cooler inside the AP202 chassis. The 1000W power supply feeds both components with room for transient spikes. In typical gaming sessions fan speeds stay moderate and case temperatures remain controlled without aggressive acoustic profiles.

Sustained loads stay composed

During extended compile, render or 4K gaming workloads the liquid cooler maintains stable CPU clocks without thermal throttling. The GPU sustains its boost behaviour thanks to consistent case airflow and the 1000W unit’s clean power delivery. Builders who need a second graphics card or more than 2TB of fast storage should look elsewhere, as the platform offers a single PCI Express x16 slot and one NVMe drive installed.

Questions about this item

How is the 360mm liquid cooler installed in the AP202 case, and what step is often missed?

The 360mm radiator mounts to the case roof or front using the included brackets; the step often missed is routing the pump cables through the rear grommet before securing the block on the AM5 socket.

What maintenance will the 1000W power supply and liquid cooler need later?

Vacuum the PSU intake filter and radiator fins every 6–12 months; the sealed loop requires no coolant top-up unless a leak appears.

Which limit appears first when the RTX 5080 and Ryzen 7 9700X run sustained loads?

The GPU 16GB GDDR7 frame buffer fills before the 128GB DDR5 system memory, so texture streaming becomes the bottleneck in extended 4K sessions.
