Ready-to-game desktop

This ASUS Prime AP202 White system arrives fully assembled with Windows 11 Home installed and liquid cooling fitted. The Ryzen 9 9950X 16-core processor runs at 4.3 GHz base frequency on the AM5 socket. A GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card with 16 GB GDDR7 memory connects through a PCI Express x16 slot and is virtual-reality ready. The 128 GB DDR5 memory fills all four slots and the 2 TB NVMe SSD provides the primary storage.

Build integration

A 1000 W power supply drives the CPU, GPU and 360 mm liquid cooler without extra cables to source. The AP202 chassis includes Wi-Fi and RGB lighting so no separate adapters or strips are required. Four occupied DDR5 slots mean memory expansion needs a full kit replacement. The NVMe drive leaves SATA III ports free for additional hard drives or SSDs if more capacity is wanted later.

Upgrade perspective

Buyers moving from a system with fewer than 16 cores or less than 16 GB video memory will see the largest jump in multithreaded workloads and 4K gaming headroom. The DDR5 platform and AM5 socket give a current-generation foundation, but the 128 GB limit is fixed by the four populated slots. Builders who need more than 2 TB of fast storage or a second graphics card should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the 360 mm liquid cooler keep the 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X from throttling during long renders?

The 360 mm liquid cooler is sized for the 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X and its 4.3 GHz base frequency, giving sustained thermal headroom for extended all-core workloads.

How loud is the system when the RTX 5080 and CPU run at full load for hours?

The 360 mm liquid cooler moves heat from the 16-core CPU to three low-RPM fans, while the RTX 5080 uses its own triple-fan design, so noise stays at a moderate hum even during all-day gaming sessions.

Does the 1000 W power supply have the native 12VHPWR connector the RTX 5080 needs?

The included 1000 W unit provides the 12VHPWR connector required by the GeForce RTX 5080, plus enough overhead for the 16-core CPU, 128 GB DDR5 and 2 TB NVMe SSD.
