System identity

This ASUS Prime AP202 White desktop is built around an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X 16-core processor running at 4.3 GHz and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card with 32 GB GDDR7 memory. It ships with 128 GB of DDR5 RAM and a 2 TB NVMe SSD, ready for high-end gaming and heavy content creation. Buyers who need more than 2 TB of fast storage or a second graphics card should look elsewhere.

Thermals and power

A 360 mm liquid cooler handles the CPU heat load while the 1200 W power supply feeds the complete system. The combination keeps temperatures controlled and fan noise moderate during extended gaming sessions. No further acoustic or thermal figures are provided.

Deciding specification

The GeForce RTX 5090 with 32 GB GDDR7 video memory is the single component that determines whether this machine matches a workload that demands maximum GPU compute and frame-buffer capacity.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 360 mm liquid cooler and what step do builders often miss?

The 360 mm liquid cooler arrives pre-filled and pre-mounted on the Ryzen 9 9950X inside the AP202 case; the step often missed is connecting the pump header and the three radiator fans to the correct motherboard headers so the 1200 W PSU can power them.

What maintenance or replacement will the 360 mm liquid cooler need later?

The sealed 360 mm liquid cooler is maintenance-free for its service life; if pump noise or CPU temperatures rise after several years the entire closed-loop unit would be replaced rather than refilled.

What thermal limit appears first on the Ryzen 9 9950X during sustained all-core loads with the 360 mm liquid cooler?

Under prolonged all-core work the Ryzen 9 9950X will hit its factory thermal throttle point before the 360 mm liquid cooler saturates, causing the 4.3 GHz base frequency to drop until temperatures fall.
