Micro ATX board for 12th and 13th Gen Intel CPUs with DDR5 up to 7200 MHz, two M.2 slots, 2.5 Gb LAN and WiFi 6
The ASUS PRIME B760M-A AX uses the Intel B760 chipset on a microATX form factor. It supports 12th and 13th Gen Intel Core, Pentium Gold and Celeron processors in the LGA 1700 socket. Four 288-pin DDR5 slots accept up to 256 GB of memory in dual-channel mode. The board targets daily users and DIY builders who want a compact platform with modern I/O.
Verify that your chosen CPU cooler fits the microATX layout and does not block the four memory slots or the primary PCIe 4.0 x16 slot. Ensure any DDR5 kit you select appears on the motherboard QVL for the speeds you intend to run, as supported data rates range from 4800 to 7200+(OC) MHz depending on the processor and module count. Confirm your power supply provides the required 12 V connectors for the board.
Dual M.2 slots (Key M, type 2242/2260/2280) each run at PCIe 4.0 x4 and include dedicated heatsinks to maintain sustained throughput. The Realtek 2.5 Gb Ethernet controller and Wi-Fi 6 module deliver wired and wireless networking without extra cards. A front-panel USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C header and rear USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports simplify connectivity for modern cases and peripherals.

The board itself is included; you must supply an LGA 1700 processor, DDR5 memory modules, storage drives, a power supply, a chassis and a CPU cooler.
The four slots support up to 256 GB and run at 4800 MHz out of the box; XMP 3.0 kits rated up to 7200+(OC) MHz will operate at their advertised speeds when enabled in the BIOS.
The Realtek controller provides a wired network link of up to 2.5 Gb/s, so large file transfers and low-latency gaming benefit whenever the router, switch and cabling also support 2.5 Gb/s.
