ATX board for LGA 1151 300 Series CPUs with dual-channel DDR4 up to 64 GB, six SATA 6 Gb/s ports, two M.2 slots and Intel I219-V 1 Gbps LAN
The ASUS Prime Z390-A uses the LGA 1151 (300 Series) socket and Intel Z390 chipset to support 8th and 9th generation Intel Core processors. Four 288-pin DDR4 slots accept up to 64 GB in dual-channel mode. The board provides three PCI Express 3.0 x16 slots, three PCI Express 3.0 x1 slots, six SATA 6Gb/s ports and two M.2 sockets for storage expansion.
The 5-Way Optimization suite uses thermal telemetry to set a stable overclock in one click, keeping clocks consistent during long workloads. FanXpert 4 and a dedicated AIO pump header adjust cooling curves in real time so temperatures stay controlled under continuous stress. Intel I219-V LAN and 8-channel Realtek ALC S1220A audio maintain steady throughput without throttling.
SafeSlot Core reinforces the primary PCIe slots to withstand heavy graphics cards, while LANGuard and overvoltage protection shield network and power circuits. Two M.2 sockets accept 2242, 2260, 2280 and 22110 devices with both SATA and PCIe 3.0 x4 modes. AURA Sync RGB headers allow coordinated lighting across compatible components.
