Intel Z790 ATX motherboard with LGA 1700 socket supporting DDR5 memory up to 192GB
This ASUS PRIME Z790-V WIFI motherboard uses the Intel Z790 chipset and an LGA 1700 socket. It supports DDR5 memory up to a maximum of 192GB. The board follows the standard ATX form factor for desktop builds.
This board fits builders assembling a new Intel platform with DDR5 memory. It is not for buyers who require the original retail packaging or a full accessory bundle. It is also not for anyone unwilling to accept cosmetic signs of previous use on the hardware.
The 192GB DDR5 ceiling is the single specification that decides if this motherboard matches the planned memory configuration. Verify that your intended kit and CPU combination can operate within this supported limit before purchase.

The board follows the standard ATX form factor and uses the LGA 1700 socket, so any ATX-compatible case and LGA 1700 cooler will fit.
Mount the board on ATX standoffs, connect the 24-pin and 8-pin power cables, seat DDR5 modules until the latches click, attach the supplied I/O shield, then install the included SATA cable for storage; the step often missed is fitting the I/O shield before securing the board.
The metal battery on the board maintains CMOS settings and will eventually need replacement when the system loses time or BIOS configuration at boot.
