Mid-tower case for creative workstations

The ASUS ProArt PA602 Ash Wood Edition is a mid-tower chassis built for content creators who need room for high-end components. It accepts Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, ATX and EATX motherboards up to 12x10.9 inches. The tempered glass left panel shows the interior while the wood-accent front adds a studio-ready look.

Cooling limits set by 420 mm radiator support

The top panel fits radiators up to 420 mm, with additional support for 360, 280, 240, 140 and 120 mm sizes. Two pre-installed 200 mm fans sit at the front, while a PWM 140 mm fan exhausts at the rear. The top can take three 140 mm or three 120 mm fans, and the CPU cooler height is capped at 185 mm.

Graphics card clearance decides the build

Maximum graphics card length is 440 mm, which determines whether a specific card will fit. The power supply bay accepts units up to 190 mm long. Eight standard expansion slots plus two additional vertical slots provide flexible GPU mounting. Removable dust filters on the bottom, top and front simplify maintenance.

Questions about this item

Should I pick this mid-tower for an EATX board or stick to ATX?

The PA602 accepts Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, ATX and EATX boards up to 12 x 10.9 inches, so you can choose any of those form factors.

What does the 440 mm graphics-card limit mean for my build?

It means any GPU up to 440 mm long will fit, leaving room for most triple-slot cards while still allowing front-mounted radiators or fans.

The front USB-C is labelled 3.2 Gen 2x2 — what speed does that actually deliver?

That port runs at up to 20 Gbps, so compatible drives or peripherals can transfer at the full Gen 2x2 rate when the motherboard header supports it.
