Compact 75% aluminium keyboard

The ASUS ROG Azoth Extreme NX Storm is a new wireless mechanical keyboard built around a 75 percent layout and a CNC-machined aluminium chassis. It uses ROG NX Storm clicky switches mounted on a carbon-fibre plate with three layers of dampening material. Connectivity covers 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth for up to three devices and a wired USB-C option.

Competitive gamers wanting Speed Tap

The Speed Tap mode and 8K Hz polling rate suit players who need instant directional changes in fast shooters. The aluminium frame and premium materials appeal to enthusiasts who value build quality. Buyers who prefer a silent linear switch or a full-size layout with dedicated macro keys should look elsewhere.

1600-hour battery life with lighting off

Wireless endurance reaches 1600 hours when RGB and the 1.47-inch OLED touchscreen are disabled. The OLED panel shows system stats and battery level while a multi-function knob adjusts volume and settings on the fly. This single figure determines whether the keyboard matches your untethered usage.

Questions about this item

Will the ROG NX Storm clicky switches need lubrication or replacement over time?

The switches are factory-lubed and rated for a long lifespan; no user lubrication is required and individual switch replacement is not supported on this fixed-plate design.

What limits battery life when the keyboard runs continuously with lighting active?

The 1600-hour figure applies with RGB and the 1.47-inch OLED off; enabling either reduces runtime substantially.

How warm or loud does the aluminum chassis get during all-day gaming sessions?

The solid aluminum-alloy frame and carbon-fiber plate dissipate heat passively, while dual PORON foams and a silicone pad keep acoustic volume low under sustained use.
