ASUS ROG Azoth X 75% keyboard

The ASUS ROG Azoth X is a 75% gaming keyboard built for enthusiasts who want a compact layout with premium customisation options. It ships with hot-swappable ROG NX Storm V2 mechanical switches and dye-sublimated semi-translucent keycaps. Tri-mode connectivity covers Bluetooth, 2.4GHz wireless with ROG SpeedNova technology, and wired USB. The board is compatible with Mac OS.

Gasket mount with five-layer damping

A gasket structure combines one silicone pad and four layers of PORON foam to absorb vibration and switch noise during extended sessions. The FR4 plate adds a flexible typing feel with a deep, crisp sound signature. South-facing PCB lighting works with the triple-sided translucent keycaps for consistent RGB shine. An OLED display and three-way control knob give quick access to settings without software interrupts.

Check switch preference and layout fit

Hot-swappable sockets let you change switches, but the stock NX Storm V2 units have a specific tactile profile that may not suit linear-only users. The 75% form factor removes the numeric keypad and some navigation keys compared to full-size boards. Verify that your workflow can adapt to the condensed key arrangement before ordering.

Questions about this item

How loud is the ROG Azoth X when typing for hours with its gasket design and five-layer noise reduction?

The gasket mount and five-layer stack — one silicone pad plus four PORON foam layers — absorb switch vibration and cut clatter, so extended sessions stay quiet.

What must I already own to use the keyboard's tri-mode connectivity?

A device with Bluetooth for up to three paired connections, a free USB port for the 2.4 GHz ROG SpeedNova dongle, or a USB cable for wired mode.

Will the south-facing PCB and hot-swappable NX Storm V2 sockets accept my existing Cherry-profile keycap sets?

Yes — south-facing RGB avoids north-facing interference, and the hot-swap sockets fit standard MX-stem keycaps, so older sets drop straight in.
