ASUS ROG Cetra True Wireless SpeedNova

This wireless gaming earbud set combines Bluetooth 5.3 and 2.4 GHz dongle connectivity with 10 mm neodymium drivers delivering 24-bit 96 kHz audio. Bone-conduction AI microphones and adaptive ANC target competitive players who want low-latency sound across PC, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and mobile devices.

Compatibility checklist before ordering

Verify your platform appears in the two supported lists: Bluetooth mode covers PC, Mac, iOS, Android and Nintendo Switch; SpeedNova dongle mode adds PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. A free USB-C port is required for the 2.4 GHz dongle. The earbud form factor suits users comfortable with in-ear fit; over-ear or on-ear preferences are not addressed by this design.

Upgrade path from basic wireless buds

The jump is worthwhile when you need simultaneous dual-device pairing via Hybrid Multipoint, sub-20 ms latency over 2.4 GHz, or ANC that auto-adjusts to ear-canal shape. Battery life reaches 46 hours total with the case, but single-charge runtime drops to 6.5 hours with ANC and RGB active. Buyers who want wired fallback, longer single-charge stamina or a boom microphone should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and does the 2.4 GHz USB-C dongle need a separate purchase?

The headset ships with the 2.4 GHz USB-C dongle, a charging case and ear tips; nothing extra is required for wireless use.

Should I choose the 46-hour Bluetooth figure or the 34.5-hour dongle figure for longest playtime?

The 46-hour total is Bluetooth-only with ANC and RGB off; the 2.4 GHz dongle gives up to 34.5 hours total with ANC and RGB off.

What does the 24-bit 96 kHz spec mean when I am gaming on a PS5?

It enables high-resolution audio over the 2.4 GHz dongle on PS5, delivering 24-bit 96 kHz playback with Dirac Opteo tuning.
