What this headset delivers

The ASUS ROG Delta Origin is a new wired gaming headset that connects through a USB-C interface. It uses exclusive ASUS Essence drivers with Audio Signal Diversion technology and a circular wall structure to separate high, low and mid frequencies. ROG Hyper-Grounding technology employs a multi-layer PCB layout to suppress electromagnetic interference for pure audio output.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Gamers who want one headset for laptop, Nintendo Switch, consoles and smartphones will appreciate the USB-C versatility. The Discord-certified microphone ensures clear voice communication. The red LED rings offer three lighting effects that synchronise with ROG Aura Sync gear. Buyers who require a wireless connection or a different connector type should consider other options.

The specification that decides fit

The USB-C connector determines every platform you can plug into without an adapter. If your device lacks a USB-C port, this headset will not work directly. The 20-40 kHz driver response and black finish are fixed characteristics that cannot be changed.

Questions about this item

Will the ear-cushion material need replacing after daily use?

The D-shaped ear cups use a leatherette covering that can wear with long-term daily sessions; replacement pads are available from ASUS.

What limits session length before the headset gets uncomfortably warm?

The closed-back design traps heat around the ears, so warmth builds up faster than on open-back models during extended play.

How loud is the microphone monitoring when the USB-C cable runs all day?

The Discord-certified microphone has no active monitoring speaker, so you hear only faint electrical hiss at maximum gain.
