Core Ultra 7 265KF Gaming Desktop

This ASUS ROG GR701 is a pre-built gaming desktop for players who want a complete system without assembly. It ships with an Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF 20-core processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 graphics and 64GB of DDR5 memory. Windows 11 Home is installed and the unit is tested before dispatch.

Installation and Common Issues

The desktop arrives fully assembled and liquid cooled, so no internal build work is required. Users only need to connect power, display and peripherals. Because components brands may vary, the exact motherboard layout or drive cabling can differ from online guides. Driver updates for the RTX 5060 and chipset should be run on first boot.

RTX 5060 8GB GDDR7 Graphics Card

The GPU is an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 with 8GB of GDDR7 memory on a PCI Express x16 interface. This specification decides whether the system meets a buyer's performance target for resolution and refresh rate. The card supports virtual reality workloads. Buyers who need more video memory for 4K texture packs or heavy compute workloads should consider a different configuration.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 360mm liquid cooler is keeping the Core Ultra 7 265KF at safe temperatures after setup?

Enter the UEFI or use ASUS monitoring software to check CPU temps at idle and under load; the 20-core processor should stay well below its thermal limit with the factory-filled 360mm loop.

What components are included in the box and what must I supply myself?

The system ships complete with the Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF, RTX 5060 8GB GDDR7, 64GB DDR5, 4TB NVMe SSD, 2TB SATA HDD, 750W PSU, Windows 11 Home and Wi-Fi; only a monitor, keyboard and mouse are needed separately.

Which storage configuration best suits my workload — the 4TB NVMe or the 2TB HDD?

Install the OS and active games on the 4TB NVMe for fastest load times; use the 2TB SATA HDD for media archives, backups and less-frequently accessed files.
