System purpose

The ASUS ROG GR701 is a new gaming desktop built around an Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF processor with 20 cores running at 5.4 GHz. It targets players who want a complete, liquid-cooled system that arrives tested and ready for high-refresh 1440p or 4K play.

Storage and memory impact

A 1 TB NVMe drive holds the operating system and active titles for fast load times while a 2 TB SATA III hard drive adds bulk capacity for media and backups. The 64 GB DDR5 kit fills all four slots, giving headroom for streaming, heavy multitasking and future upgrades without immediate changes.

Deciding specification

The AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics card with 8 GB GDDR6 memory determines the resolution and detail settings the system can sustain in modern titles. Buyers who need more video memory for heavy texture packs or professional GPU workloads should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the 360mm liquid cooler need refilling or pump replacement later?

The 360mm liquid cooler is a sealed AIO unit that requires no refilling; pump replacement is only needed if it fails after years of use.

What limit appears first when the Core Ultra 7 265KF runs at 5.4GHz all day?

Sustained 5.4GHz on the 20-core CPU will hit the 750W power supply ceiling before thermal limits, especially with the RX 9060 XT under load.

How loud and hot does the 360mm liquid cooler get during all-day gaming?

The 360mm radiator keeps the Core Ultra 7 265KF cool with low fan speeds, so noise stays modest and case temperatures remain controlled.
