Product identity

The ASUS ROG Spatha is a 12-button gaming mouse that operates in both wireless and wired modes, aimed at players who want extensive macro control and adjustable click feel. Its magnesium alloy base and magnetic charging dock suit desk setups that value quick docking and low-friction glide.

Bundled impact

Swappable Omron switches let you tune click resistance without soldering, while the ROG Armoury software stores button maps, DPI steps and three-zone RGB profiles in onboard flash memory. The magnetic dock charges the mouse and keeps it ready for wireless play, removing cable drag when unplugged.

Capacity and limits

At 8200 DPI, 150 ips tracking and 30 g acceleration the sensor handles fast twitch aiming, and wired polling reaches 2000 Hz for minimal input lag. The 178.5 g weight without cable may feel heavy for low-sensitivity flick shots, and the 12-button layout adds complexity that not every grip style can reach comfortably.

The 2000 Hz USB polling rate is specified for wired mode; wireless performance may differ.

How much heat or noise does the mouse produce during all-day gaming sessions?
