High-capacity ATX power supply

The ASUS ROG Strix 1000W Gold Aura Edition is a new ATX power supply rated at 1000W maximum output. It carries 80 Plus Gold efficiency certification and uses a fully modular cable design. The unit includes Aura RGB lighting for system colour coordination.

Suited for high-wattage builds.

This power supply fits builders assembling high-performance desktops that demand up to 1000W of continuous power and value cable management flexibility. It is not for systems with modest power requirements where a lower-wattage unit would be more appropriate and cost-effective.

1000W maximum power rating decides fit

The single specification that determines compatibility is the 1000W maximum power rating. Match this figure to the total power draw of your components to confirm the unit can handle peak loads. The ATX form factor fits standard ATX cases.

Questions about this item

Does the ASUS ROG Strix 1000W Gold Aura Edition include all modular cables or must any be purchased separately?

The unit is fully modular so every cable connects to the PSU itself; the manufacturer notes the product may not arrive in original packaging, so confirm the exact cable bundle with the seller before ordering.

The title lists 1000W and 80+ Gold — are there other capacity or efficiency versions of this model to choose from?

The supplied data covers only the 1000W Gold Aura Edition variant; no other wattages or 80 PLUS tiers are mentioned for this specific ROG Strix line.

What does the 1000W rating actually deliver once the supply is installed in a working PC?

The 1000W figure is the maximum continuous output the unit can provide across all rails combined; real-world delivery depends on your component draw, but the 80+ Gold certification means at least 80% efficiency at typical loads.
