850W Platinum ATX 3.1 power supply

This fully modular unit targets enthusiasts who need stable, efficient power for high-end graphics cards and CPUs. It meets 80 Plus Platinum and Cybenetics Lambda A+ efficiency ratings. The ATX 3.1 design supports modern power-excursion requirements.

GPU-First stabiliser and 0dB fan mode

The patented intelligent voltage stabiliser improves GPU rail delivery by up to 45% for smoother performance. Large ROG heatsinks lower component temperatures. Dual ball-bearing fans enable a 0dB mode that stops the fan entirely under light loads.

850 watts of headroom for single-GPU builds

The 850W capacity comfortably handles a flagship GPU plus a high-core-count CPU with overclocking headroom. It will not suit dual-GPU configurations or extreme workstation loads that exceed this output.

Questions about this item

How long are the dual ball fan bearings rated to last compared with sleeve bearings?

Dual ball fan bearings can last up to twice as long as sleeve bearing designs, reducing the chance of a fan replacement during the unit's service life.

What limits sustained output before the protection circuits engage?

The 850 W rating and ATX 3.1 current-regulation limits define the maximum continuous power the supply can deliver before over-current or over-temperature protection activates.

How quiet is the power supply during all-day operation at typical loads?

0 dB technology stops the fan entirely at light loads, while large ROG heatsinks and dual ball bearings keep noise low even when the fan spins under sustained load.
