Built for intensive mobile work

The ASUS ROG Strix G16 is a 16-inch laptop powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX processor with 16 cores and 32 threads. It ships with 64 GB of DDR5 memory and a 2 TB SSD. The dedicated NVIDIA RTX 5070 GPU provides 8 GB of GDDR7 video memory. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed on this Eclipse Gray unit.

Suits stationary power users.

This configuration targets creators and engineers who run heavy local rendering or multi-threaded workloads at a desk. The 165 Hz WUXGA anti-glare panel with 100 percent sRGB coverage supports colour-critical tasks. Buyers who need a lighter chassis for frequent travel or who require more than 96 GB of total memory capacity should look at other models.

165 Hz 16:10 display with MUX Switch

The 16-inch IPS-level panel delivers a 1920 x 1200 resolution, 300 nits brightness and a 3 ms response time. A hardware MUX Switch routes frames directly from the RTX 5070 to the screen, reducing latency for competitive gaming and smooth viewport navigation. This display characteristic is the primary factor when deciding if the visual experience matches your workflow.
