Elite gaming laptop with 96 GB DDR5

The ASUS ROG Strix G16 is a 16-inch laptop built around an AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX processor with 16 cores and 32 threads. It ships with 96 GB of DDR5 memory and a combined 8 TB of PCIe SSD storage across two drives. The dedicated NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 GPU provides 8 GB of GDDR7 video memory. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed for immediate use.

Included mousepad and RGB keyboard

A Gray+Traix mousepad is bundled in the box for desktop use. The laptop features a 4-zone RGB backlit chiclet keyboard that allows per-zone lighting customisation. A 1080p Full HD webcam with an AI noise-cancelling microphone array handles video calls. Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 manage wireless connectivity for peripherals and networks.

165 Hz panel limits external sync

The internal WUXGA display runs at a fixed 165 Hz refresh rate with a 3 ms response time and 300 nits brightness. It covers 100 percent sRGB with a 1000:1 contrast ratio. A MUX Switch routes frames directly from the RTX 5070 to the panel. Buyers who need variable refresh rates above 165 Hz or HDR certification will find the built-in screen does not support those modes.
