18-inch 240 Hz WQXGA gaming laptop

The ASUS ROG Strix G18 is an 18-inch gaming laptop with a 2560x1600 display running at 240 Hz. It is powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX processor reaching 5.3 GHz and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 GPU with 8GB GDDR7 memory. The system includes 64GB DDR5 SO-DIMM memory and an 8TB PCIe NVMe SSD, running Windows 11 Pro.

Suits high-refresh competitive play.

This laptop suits users who prioritise a large, high-refresh screen and strong multi-core CPU performance for gaming or content creation. The 18-inch chassis and 280W power supply make it less suitable for frequent travel or use on small surfaces. Buyers needing a lighter device or longer unplugged runtime should consider smaller form factors.

240 Hz 18-inch panel defines the usage case

The 18.0-inch 2560x1600 240 Hz display is the specification that decides fit. It delivers high motion clarity for fast-paced titles but dictates the overall size, weight and power envelope of the machine. If the panel size or refresh target does not match the intended workflow, a different model will be more appropriate.
