18-inch 240 Hz gaming laptop

The ASUS ROG Strix G815LP-IS96 is an 18.0-inch gaming laptop built around a 15th Gen Intel Core Ultra 9-275HX processor with 24 cores and 24 threads. It runs at a base 2.70 GHz and can reach 5.4 GHz turbo. The 2560x1600 IPS panel refreshes at 240 Hz for smooth motion in competitive titles. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed.

32 GB DDR5 SO-DIMM and 8 TB PCIe SSD

The chassis holds 32 GB of DDR5 SO-DIMM memory and an 8 TB PCIe NVMe SSD for fast load times. External connectivity includes HDMI, Thunderbolt 4, USB 3.2 Type-C and a headphone/microphone combo jack. Wired networking uses RJ-45 while wireless uses 802.11be and Bluetooth 5.4. A 90 WHr 4-cell battery and 280 W power supply complete the package.

RTX 5070 8 GB GDDR7 graphics limits

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 provides 8 GB of GDDR7 video memory and supports VR-ready workloads. Performance scales with the 240 Hz display refresh rate and the PCIe storage throughput. Sustained output depends on the thermal solution within the 1.4-inch profile. Buyers should verify application requirements against the GPU memory capacity.
