Ready-to-play desktop

This ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 system arrives assembled with an Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF 20-core processor at 5.4GHz and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card with 16GB GDDR7 memory. It includes 64GB DDR5 RAM, a 4TB NVMe SSD, a 2TB SATA III HDD and a 1000W power supply. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed and a 360mm liquid cooler handles CPU thermals.

Compatibility checklist

Verify that your display supports the GPU output standards required by the GeForce RTX 5080 and that your desk space accommodates a full-tower chassis. The motherboard uses an LGA 1851 socket with four DDR5 slots, all populated in this build. Ensure your mains supply can deliver sufficient current for a 1000W unit and that local regulations permit the included Wi-Fi radio.

Sustained-load behaviour

The 360mm liquid cooler is designed to maintain CPU temperatures during extended gaming or rendering sessions rather than only short bursts. The 1000W power supply provides headroom for the RTX 5080 and 20-core processor running simultaneously at high utilisation. Airflow through the Helios chassis supports continuous component cooling over long periods.

Questions about this item

Does the system arrive with a keyboard and mouse or do I need to buy them separately?

The unit ships as the tower only with Windows 11 Home installed; keyboard, mouse and monitor are not included and must be purchased separately.

Is the 4TB NVMe SSD paired with the 2TB HDD the only storage option for this model?

Yes, this configuration comes with a 4TB NVMe SSD and a 2TB SATA III HDD already installed; no alternative drive combination is offered for this build.

What does the 5.4GHz figure mean for everyday gaming on the Core Ultra 7 265KF?

The processor can boost up to 5.4GHz on demanding threads, giving strong single-core speed for high frame rates while the 20 cores handle background tasks and streaming.
