Core Ultra 7 265KF desktop

This ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White system is a new gaming desktop PC built around an Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF processor with 20 cores at 5.4GHz. It includes 128GB of DDR5 memory across four slots, a Dhahab GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card with 16GB GDDR7, 4TB NVMe SSD storage, a 2TB SATA III HDD, a 360mm liquid cooler, 1000W power supply and Windows 11 Home.

Compatibility checks

Verify that your monitor and cables support the PCI Express x16 graphics interface used by the RTX 5080. Ensure your network environment can use the integrated WiFi capability. Confirm the physical space available for a full-tower chassis with a 360mm liquid cooler and a 1000W power supply unit. Check that your peripheral devices connect via the standard I/O provided by the motherboard.

Ideal users and limits

This desktop suits enthusiasts who want a pre-built, liquid-cooled system with high core counts, large DDR5 capacity and a flagship GPU for 4K gaming or creative workloads. Buyers who need more storage than 4TB NVMe plus 2TB HDD, or who require a specific memory speed rating not listed, should consider other configurations. Users seeking a compact form factor or a lower-wattage power supply will find this chassis and 1000W unit excessive. Those who prefer to select individual component brands themselves should note that component brands may vary.

Questions about this item

Does the ROG Strix Helios GX601 White come with a monitor, keyboard and mouse, or do I need to buy them separately?

The system ships with the tower, a 360 mm liquid cooler, 1000 W power supply and Windows 11 Home installed. Monitor, keyboard and mouse are not included.

Should I choose the 128 GB DDR5 configuration or add more memory later using the four slots?

All four DDR5 slots are already populated with 128 GB total. No free slots remain, so further upgrades would require replacing existing modules.

What does the 5.4 GHz figure on the Core Ultra 7 265KF mean for actual game frame rates?

The 5.4 GHz base frequency across 20 cores gives strong single-thread speed for high frame rates in CPU-bound titles, while the RTX 5080 16 GB GDDR7 handles the graphics workload.
