System identity

This ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White is a new gaming desktop PC built around an Intel Core i7-14700KF processor and a Dhahab GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card. It ships with Windows 11 Home, 128GB of DDR5 memory and a combined 2TB NVMe SSD plus 2TB SATA III HDD, all cooled by a 360mm liquid cooler and powered by a 1000W supply.

Graphics capability

The single specification that determines suitability is the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 with 16GB GDDR7 memory on a PCI Express x16 interface, which makes the system Virtual Reality Ready and able to drive high-refresh 4K gaming workloads.

Buyer fit

This desktop suits enthusiasts who want a liquid-cooled, white-chassis machine with high core counts and maximum factory memory for gaming and content creation. Buyers who need more than 128GB of RAM, additional GPU slots or a different chassis colour should look at other configurations.

Questions about this item

How does the 20-core i7-14700KF perform inside a liquid-cooled chassis?

The 3.4 GHz base clock and 20 cores run under a 360 mm liquid cooler, so multi-threaded workloads and high-frame-rate gaming stay within thermal limits without throttle.

What does the PCI Express x16 link mean for the RTX 5080?

The graphics card connects through a full x16 slot, giving the 16 GB GDDR7 GPU its maximum bandwidth ceiling for 4K gaming and compute tasks.

Will the 360 mm liquid cooler and RTX 5080 fit in the GX601 case?

The Helios GX601 chassis is designed around a 360 mm radiator and full-length graphics cards, so both the cooler and the Dhahab RTX 5080 mount without clearance issues.
