ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White Gaming Desktop

This pre-built gaming desktop PC combines an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K 24-core processor at 5.7GHz with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card. It ships with Windows 11 Home, a 360mm liquid cooler, 128GB of DDR5 memory, and dual storage comprising a 2TB NVMe SSD and a 2TB SATA III HDD. A 1000W power supply delivers energy to all components.

Suits 4K gamers and creators needing maximum memory

The 128GB DDR5 capacity and RTX 5080 16GB GDDR7 GPU serve high-resolution gaming, 3D rendering, and heavy multitasking workflows. Buyers who want more storage bays than the provided dual-drive layout, or who prefer to select every component themselves, should look at a custom-build route instead.

Fits a full-tower chassis

The system requires a case that can accommodate a 360mm liquid-cooling radiator and a PCI Express x16 graphics card. The included 1000W unit powers the CPU, GPU, and all drives without needing an external supply. Four DDR5 slots are populated, leaving no free memory slots for future expansion.

Questions about this item

Does the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K need a separate LGA 1851 motherboard, or is it already installed in the chassis?

The processor is pre-installed on the motherboard inside the GX601 case, so no separate board or socket work is required.

Will the 360 mm liquid cooler and 1000 W power supply handle legacy PCIe 3.0 add-in cards I might keep?

Yes, the PCI Express x16 slot is backward compatible with older cards, and the 1000 W unit provides ample headroom for additional peripherals.

How can I verify the RTX 5080 is running at its 16 GB GDDR7 specification after first boot?

Open GPU-Z or Task Manager Performance tab; both will show 16 GB GDDR7 memory and the PCIe x16 link width.
