Ready-to-play gaming desktop

The ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White arrives fully assembled with Windows 11 Home installed and passes bench testing before shipping. It targets enthusiasts who want high-frame-rate 4K gaming and heavy multitasking without building a system themselves. Buyers who need a compact form factor or a lower-power office machine should look elsewhere.

Installation and common issues

No internal assembly is required; connect power, peripherals and a display to begin. The 360mm liquid cooler is pre-filled and mounted, so there is no CPU cooler installation step. The only typical hurdle is ensuring the destination space accommodates the full-tower chassis and that the 1000W power supply has a suitable mains outlet.

Deciding specification

The system includes 128GB of DDR5 memory across four populated slots, leaving no free DIMM sockets for future expansion. This capacity ceiling is the single figure that determines whether the rig suits workloads that demand more than 128GB of RAM.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 360mm liquid cooler is keeping the Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF at safe temperatures under load?

After setup, open the BIOS or a monitoring tool such as HWMonitor and watch the CPU package temperature while running a demanding game or benchmark; the 360mm liquid cooler should hold the 20-core processor well below its thermal limit during sustained workloads.

Which components are included in the box and what must I supply myself?

The system ships complete with the ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White chassis, Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF, 128GB DDR5, GeForce RTX 5080 16GB GDDR7, 4TB NVMe SSD, 2TB SATA III HDD, 1000W power supply, 360mm liquid cooler, Windows 11 Home, WiFi and RGB lighting; you only need to add a monitor, keyboard, mouse and network connection.

Should I choose a different capacity of the RTX 5080 or a different SSD size for this build?

This configuration comes with the 16GB GDDR7 RTX 5080 and a 4TB NVMe SSD paired with a 2TB HDD; no alternative GPU memory or primary SSD capacities are offered for this model, so the listed combination is the only one to select.
