ROG Strix Helios GX601 White Gaming Desktop

This pre-built gaming desktop ships with an Intel Core i7-14700KF 20-core processor, Radeon RX 9070 graphics with 16GB GDDR6, 32GB DDR5 memory, 2TB NVMe SSD plus 2TB SATA HDD, a 360mm liquid cooler and a 750W power supply. Windows 11 Home is installed and the system is tested ready to play. It targets gamers who want high frame rates at 1440p or 4K without assembling parts themselves.

Upgrading from an older pre-built or custom rig

The jump is worth it when your current machine cannot sustain 60 frames per second in modern titles at high settings, when storage is full across both SSD and HDD, or when the CPU hits thermal limits under load. The 20-core architecture and liquid cooling remove those bottlenecks in a single step. Buyers who need more than 32GB RAM or a second graphics card should look elsewhere.

Check case clearance for the 360mm radiator

Verify that your intended location has adequate airflow for a 360mm liquid cooler and that the motherboard offers an LGA 1700 socket with DDR5 slots. Ensure the 750W supply meets the power demands of any extra drives or peripherals you plan to add. Confirm the PCI Express x16 slot is free for the installed Radeon RX 9070.

Questions about this item

How much case clearance does the 360mm liquid cooler require?

The 360mm liquid cooler needs a mounting area that can accommodate a 360mm radiator and three fans, typically at the top or front of the chassis.

What is the correct orientation for the LGA 1700 CPU socket retention bracket during installation?

Align the Intel Core i7-14700KF notches with the LGA 1700 socket keys, lower the processor gently, and secure the load plate before locking the lever.

Which drive bays and cables are needed to add more storage later?

The motherboard provides additional NVMe slots for SSDs and SATA III ports for HDDs; use the spare power cables from the 750W supply.
