System identity

This ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White desktop pairs a 24-core Intel Core i9-14900KF at 3.2GHz with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 16GB GDDR7 GPU, 64GB DDR5 memory, 2TB NVMe SSD and 2TB SATA HDD. It targets enthusiasts who want a liquid-cooled, Windows 11 machine ready for 4K gaming and heavy multitasking without assembly.

Sustained load behaviour

A 360mm liquid cooler and 1000W power supply keep the 14900KF and RTX 5080 stable during extended sessions, while the NVMe drive maintains fast asset streaming and the HDD provides bulk capacity for large libraries. Component brands may vary but the thermal headroom is built for continuous high-wattage operation.

Upgrade context

The platform replaces an older LGA 1700 build or a lower-tier pre-built that cannot feed a 5080-class GPU, adding 64GB DDR5, dual 2TB storage and a 360mm loop in one step. Buyers who need more than 64GB RAM or additional PCIe lanes should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the 360mm liquid cooler keep the i9-14900KF during long sessions?

The 360mm liquid cooler is designed to handle the 24-core i9-14900KF's heat output, maintaining lower temperatures than air coolers under sustained loads while the pump and fans run quieter than high-RPM air cooling setups.

Does the 1000W power supply include the PCIe cables needed for the RTX 5080?

Yes, the included 1000W power supply provides the necessary PCIe power connectors for the Dhahab GeForce RTX 5080, so no separate cable purchase is required for the graphics card.

Can I keep my existing SATA III hard drives and plug them into this motherboard?

Yes, the motherboard includes SATA III ports that support your existing 2TB hard drive or any other SATA storage devices you want to carry over.
