Ready-to-play gaming desktop

The ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White arrives fully assembled with Windows 11 Home, an Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF 20-core processor at 5.4GHz and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card with 12GB GDDR7 memory. It targets gamers and creators who want a liquid-cooled system that ships tested and ready to use.

Storage and memory limits

The build combines a 4TB NVMe SSD for fast boot and game loads with a 2TB HDD on SATA III for bulk capacity. Four DDR5 slots are populated with 32GB total; all slots are filled so any upgrade requires replacing existing modules rather than adding to them.

Installation notes

As a complete desktop the unit only needs mains power and a display connection. The 360mm liquid cooler and 850W power supply are pre-installed inside the chassis. Builders who need additional drive bays or a second graphics card will find no provision for them in this configuration.

What does the 5.4GHz figure on the Core Ultra 7 265KF mean once the PC is built and running?

The 20-core processor can reach a 5.4GHz base frequency, giving strong single-thread speed for games and multi-thread throughput for streaming or rendering.

Does the PCI Express x16 slot limit the RTX 5070 12GB GDDR7 in any way?

The graphics card uses a PCI Express x16 interface, providing full bandwidth for the GPU without a bottleneck from the slot.
