Ready-to-play desktop for high-refresh gaming

This ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White system arrives assembled with an Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF 20-core processor at 5.4GHz, 64GB DDR5 memory, a GeForce RTX 5070 Ti with 16GB GDDR7, 4TB NVMe SSD plus 2TB HDD, 850W power supply and Windows 11 Home. It targets players who want 1440p or 4K performance without building a PC themselves.

Straightforward setup with a large liquid cooler

The 360mm liquid cooler is pre-installed on the CPU, so the heaviest component is already secured for transit. Connect power, peripherals and a display to the graphics card, then press the front button. The main risk is forgetting to plug the monitor into the GPU instead of the motherboard, which would leave the discrete card unused.

Verify case clearance and drive bays before ordering

The chassis is a full-tower ROG Strix Helios GX601; confirm your desk or shelf can accommodate its footprint and that you have a grounded mains socket for the 850W unit. If you plan to add more SATA drives later, check how many 3.5-inch bays remain free after the included 2TB HDD. The four DDR5 slots are fully populated, so future memory upgrades require replacing modules.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 360mm liquid cooler is keeping the Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF at safe temperatures?

Check the CPU temperature in the BIOS or ASUS Armoury Crate software; the 20-core processor should idle well below its 5.4GHz boost ceiling when the cooler is seated and fans are spinning.

What components come pre-installed and what must I add before first boot?

The chassis arrives with the 64GB DDR5 kit, 4TB NVMe SSD, 2TB SATA HDD, RTX 5070 Ti 16GB GDDR7 card, 850W supply and Windows 11 Home already installed; only a monitor, keyboard and mouse are required.

Which storage combination matches the 4TB NVMe plus 2TB HDD layout shown in the highlights?

The single configuration listed pairs a 4TB NVMe drive for OS and games with a 2TB SATA III hard drive for bulk storage; no other capacity options are offered for this model.
