ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White 24-Core Desktop

This ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White is a pre-built gaming desktop PC powered by an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K 24-core processor running at 5.7GHz. It includes an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card with 16GB GDDR7 memory, 128GB DDR5 RAM, a 2TB NVMe SSD plus a 2TB SATA III HDD, an 850W power supply, a 360mm liquid cooler, and Windows 11 Home.

Suits 4K gamers and creators needing 128GB DDR5

Buyers who want a ready-to-play system with high core counts, large unified memory, and dual high-capacity drives for games and media libraries will fit this build. It is not for buyers who want more storage bays than the provided two drives, builders who need a second graphics card, or anyone requiring a different CPU socket than LGA 1851.

Simple setup with liquid cooler pre-installed

The desktop ships tested with the 360mm liquid cooler already mounted, so installation mainly involves connecting peripherals and power. The main risk is transit damage to the cooler or graphics card; inspect both carefully on arrival. Component brands may vary from the images shown.

Questions about this item

Does the 360 mm liquid cooler need any extra mounting hardware for the LGA 1851 socket?

The cooler is pre-installed on the Core Ultra 9 285K and fits the LGA 1851 socket without additional brackets.

Can I keep my existing SATA III hard drives alongside the 2 TB NVMe SSD and 2 TB HDD already inside?

Yes, the motherboard provides spare SATA III ports so older drives can be added without removing the factory storage.

How do I verify the 128 GB DDR5 memory is running at its rated speed after first boot?

Open Task Manager, select the Performance tab, choose Memory and confirm the speed shown matches the installed DDR5 modules.
