Ready-to-game desktop for 4K enthusiasts

The ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White arrives with Windows 11 Home installed and all components tested. An Intel Core i7-14700KF 20-core processor running at 3.4GHz pairs with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card holding 12GB GDDR7 memory. This combination targets players who want high frame rates at 4K resolution without building a system themselves.

Sustained load handling with liquid cooling

A 360mm liquid cooler keeps the 20-core CPU at stable temperatures during extended gaming or rendering sessions. The 850W power supply delivers consistent current to the GPU and all drives under full load. With 128GB DDR5 memory across four slots, large texture pools and background applications remain resident without swapping to the 4TB NVMe SSD or 2TB SATA III HDD.

Helios chassis layout and connectivity

The GX601 case uses a rotated motherboard orientation that places I/O ports on the upper panel for easier desk access. Four memory slots remain populated but accessible should capacity need to change. WiFi and RGB lighting are integrated, while the PCI Express x16 slot holds the RTX 5070 securely for transport. Components brands may vary inside the validated configuration.

Questions about this item

How much heat and noise does the 360mm liquid cooler and 850W power supply produce during all-day gaming?

The 360mm liquid cooler keeps the 20-core i7-14700KF at stable temperatures under sustained load, while the 850W supply runs its fan quietly thanks to ample headroom above the RTX 5070 and CPU draw.

What display cable and monitor input do I need to use the RTX 5070 12GB GDDR7?

The RTX 5070 uses a PCI Express x16 slot internally and provides standard DisplayPort and HDMI outputs; connect a monitor with matching inputs using the appropriate cable.

Will my existing SATA III hard drives and DDR5 memory work alongside the 4TB NVMe SSD and 128GB DDR5 already installed?

Yes, the 2TB HDD uses a SATA III port so additional SATA drives fit, and the four DDR5 slots are fully populated with 128GB so no further DDR5 modules can be added without removing existing ones.
