Built for high-core gaming and creation

The ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White is a new gaming desktop built around a 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X processor running at 4.3GHz. It pairs that CPU with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti graphics card equipped with 8GB of GDDR7 memory and 64GB of DDR5 system memory. The configuration targets enthusiasts who need strong multi-threaded performance alongside modern 1440p gaming capability.

Fits a complete liquid-cooled platform

A 360mm liquid cooler handles the processor heat inside the Helios chassis, while a 750W power supply delivers energy to every component. Storage combines a 2TB NVMe SSD for the operating system and active projects with a 2TB SATA III HDD for bulk files. All four DDR5 slots are populated, so memory expansion requires replacing modules rather than adding them. The system ships with Windows 11 Home installed and includes WiFi connectivity.

Sustained load on 16 cores and GDDR7 VRAM

The 360mm liquid loop is designed to keep the 16-core CPU at high frequencies during extended rendering or compile workloads without thermal throttling. The RTX 5060 Ti’s 8GB GDDR7 frame buffer supports prolonged texture streaming in current titles at high settings. With the 750W unit feeding both the processor and graphics card simultaneously, the platform maintains stable output through long gaming sessions or creative batches.

Questions about this item

Will the 360 mm liquid cooler keep the Ryzen 9 9950X at its 4.3 GHz base clock during long sessions?

The included 360 mm liquid cooler is sized for the 16-core processor and maintains the 4.3 GHz base frequency under sustained loads.

How loud and hot does the 750 W power supply run when the RTX 5060 Ti and CPU are both maxed out?

The 750 W unit delivers headroom for the GPU and CPU together, so fan speeds stay moderate and exhaust temperatures remain controlled during all-day use.

Does the motherboard have free DDR5 slots if I want to add more than the installed 64 GB?

Four DDR5 slots are fitted and all are currently populated, so any upgrade would require replacing the existing modules.
