ROG Strix Helios GX601 White desktop

The ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White is a pre-built gaming desktop powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D 16-core processor running at 4.3GHz. It pairs the CPU with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card equipped with 16GB GDDR7 memory. The system includes 128GB of DDR5 RAM across four slots and a dual-drive layout of 1TB NVMe SSD plus 2TB SATA HDD. It ships with Windows 11 Home and a 1000W power supply.

360mm liquid cooling under sustained load

A 360mm liquid cooler handles the thermal output of the 16-core processor and RTX 5080 during extended sessions. The closed-loop design moves heat away from the CPU continuously, allowing the 4.3GHz base frequency to hold without throttling. The 1000W power supply delivers stable current to both components when they draw maximum power together. This cooling capacity keeps the chassis temperatures controlled during long rendering or gaming workloads.

Upgrade from air-cooled mid-tower builds

This desktop replaces systems limited by air cooling, smaller power supplies or single-drive storage. The 128GB DDR5 capacity removes memory bottlenecks for content creation and heavy multitasking. The 1TB NVMe plus 2TB HDD combination eliminates the need to choose between speed and capacity. Builders who need more than four memory slots or a different GPU tier should look elsewhere. The jump is worth it when sustained compute and graphics performance matter more than a compact footprint.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the 360mm liquid cooler keep the Ryzen 9 9950X3D when the system runs all day?

The 360mm liquid cooler is designed to handle the 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X3D at its 4.3GHz base frequency, keeping thermals controlled during extended gaming or workload sessions.

What display cable and monitor inputs do I need to use the RTX 5080 graphics card?

The GeForce RTX 5080 connects via PCI Express x16 and provides modern display outputs; you will need a monitor with compatible HDMI or DisplayPort inputs and the matching cable.

Will my existing SATA III hard drives or 2.5-inch SSDs work inside this chassis alongside the 2TB HDD?

Yes, the 2TB HDD uses a SATA III interface, so additional SATA drives can be installed if the case has free bays and the 1000W power supply has spare SATA power connectors.
