Gundam Edition Gaming Mouse

The ASUS ROG Strix Impact II GUNDAM EDITION is a wired optical mouse built for claw and fingertip grips. Its ambidextrous shape suits both left and right-handed players. An official GUNDAM licence gives it a distinct visual identity. The USB 2.0 connection provides plug-and-play simplicity on Windows 10 systems.

Sustained Click Performance

A pivoted button mechanism keeps clicks tactile and fast during long sessions. The 6,200 dpi optical sensor tracks consistently without acceleration artefacts. An on-the-fly DPI button cycles through four preset sensitivity levels instantly. Push-fit hot-swappable switch sockets let users replace worn switches to maintain the original click feel over time.

Installation and Common Issues

The lightweight soft rubber cable reduces drag and eases cable routing. No extra software is required for basic operation on Windows 10. Aura Sync lighting control needs the Armoury Crate utility installed separately. Swapping switches demands gentle pressure; forcing the socket can bend the fragile pins on the replacement switch.

Questions about this item

Does the 6200 dpi sensor draw extra power or get warm after hours of use?

The optical sensor runs over a standard USB 2.0 connection with no external power requirement, so heat and power draw stay negligible even during long sessions.

What must my PC already have for the USB 2.0 wired connection and RGB sync to work?

A free USB 2.0 port and Windows 10 are required; Aura Sync lighting works through the same USB link once the Armoury Crate software is installed.

Will the push-fit switch sockets let me keep using my older mechanical switches if I prefer their click feel?

Yes, the exclusive hot-swappable sockets accept compatible three-pin mechanical switches so you can retain your preferred click resistance without soldering.
