16-inch 2.5k OLED 240Hz display

The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16 is a 16-inch gaming laptop built around a 2.5k OLED panel with a 240Hz refresh rate. It runs on an Intel 16-core Ultra 9 285H processor with a 2.9GHz base clock and up to 5.4GHz boost. Graphics come from an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 laptop GPU with 8GB of GDDR7 video memory. The system includes 16GB of DDR5 4800 memory and a 2TB SSD. It ships with Windows 11 Home in a grey chassis.

Creators and gamers needing high refresh OLED

This laptop suits users who want a colour-accurate OLED screen at 240Hz for fast gaming and content work. The 16-core CPU and RTX 5070 combination handles modern titles and creative workloads. Buyers who need a touchscreen should look elsewhere, as the panel is non-touch. The 16GB of memory is soldered, so users planning to upgrade RAM later cannot do so on this model.

8GB GDDR7 on the RTX 5070

The RTX 5070 laptop GPU provides 8GB of GDDR7 video memory. This capacity sets the ceiling for texture-heavy games and GPU-accelerated rendering at 2560 x 1600 resolution. If your workflow demands more video memory for large scenes or higher-resolution assets, this configuration will not meet that requirement.
