17.3" 4K 120Hz gaming laptop

The ASUS ROG Zephyrus S17 GX703HS-XB99 combines an 11th Gen Intel Core i9-11900H 8-core processor with a GeForce RTX 3080 Laptop GPU and 48GB DDR4 memory. A 17.3-inch IPS panel delivers 3840 x 2160 resolution at 120 Hz refresh rate. Windows 11 Pro drives the system out of the box.

Factory-upgraded storage and memory

Technicians open the sealed chassis to install three 8TB PCIe NVMe SSDs in RAID 0 and a 32GB SODIMM alongside 16GB onboard RAM. The RAID array presents a single 24TB volume. Buyers should verify TRIM support and backup strategy because RAID 0 offers no redundancy.

24TB RAID 0 capacity and thermal headroom

The 24TB array suits large game libraries, raw video capture and dataset caching. Sustained sequential throughput benefits from PCIe NVMe lanes. Write endurance and controller thermals become the limiting factors during prolonged heavy writes; the 280W adapter and 90 WHr battery define the power envelope.
