This 1U rackmount server barebone supports up to two AMD EPYC 7002 or 7003 series processors in Socket SP3 with a maximum TDP of 280W per socket. It is built for general-purpose workloads that need high core counts and large memory capacity in a single rack unit. Buyers who need a smaller single-socket platform or a tower form factor will not be served by this chassis.

32 DIMM slots and flexible front storage

The system provides 32 DDR4 288-pin slots across eight channels per socket supporting RDIMM, LRDIMM and 3DS modules at 3200 or 2933 MT/s with a maximum of 4096GB per socket. Front-panel bays accept up to 12 NVMe, SATA or SAS drives when paired with a PIKE or RAID card, while two M.2 slots on CPU2 support SATA or PCIe modules up to 22110. Redundant 1600W 80 Plus Titanium and Platinum power supplies deliver high efficiency for continuous operation.

Three PCIe 4.0 slots and OCP 3.0 networking

Expansion includes one PCIe 4.0 x16 full-height full-length slot from CPU1, one PCIe 4.0 x16 full-height full-length or OCP 3.0 slot from CPU2, and one PCIe 4.0 x8 or x16 low-profile slot from CPU2 that drops to x8 when an M.2 PCIe drive is installed. Dual 10 Gigabit LAN is provided via an Intel I710-AT2 module, and ASMB10-iKVM with ASPEED AST2600 enables out-of-band management.
