Demon Slayer Limited Edition AX5700 router

The ASUS RT-AX86U Demon Slayer Limited Edition is a dual-band WiFi 6 gaming router that supports wireless data rates up to 5700 Mbps. It features a 2.5 Gbps port and aggregated 2 Gbps WAN connections for high-speed wired links. The router includes lifetime-free AiProtection Pro security powered by Trend Micro with WPA3 and advanced parental controls. AiMesh support allows flexible whole-home mesh networking with compatible ASUS routers.

Gamers and mesh builders

Mobile Game Mode reduces lag and latency for mobile gaming with a single tap in the ASUS Router app, while Adaptive QoS prioritises gaming traffic across the network. The Demon Slayer edition suits users who want themed aesthetics alongside these features. Households that do not need mesh expansion or gaming-specific QoS may find a simpler router sufficient for general browsing and streaming.

AX5700 WiFi 6 wireless standard

The router delivers combined wireless throughput up to 5700 Mbps using WiFi 6 (802.11ax) with 160 MHz channels. This specification determines whether the available bandwidth meets the demands of multiple simultaneous 4K streams, large file transfers or competitive online gaming sessions. Buyers should match this peak rate to their internet plan and device capabilities.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the router is delivering the AX5700 speeds after setup?

Run a speed test on a WiFi 6 device connected to the 5 GHz band using 160 MHz channels; the ASUS Router app also shows real-time throughput and latency for each client.

What comes in the box with the Demon Slayer Limited Edition and what must I buy separately?

The package includes the router, power adapter and network cable; any AiMesh nodes or additional 2.5 Gbps switches are sold separately.

Which version of the RT-AX86U Demon Slayer should I choose for a 2.5 Gbps internet plan?

This single AX5700 Dual Band model already provides a 2.5 Gbps WAN/LAN port and aggregated 2 Gbps WAN support, so no higher-capacity variant is required.
