Questions about this item

What internet connection speed do I need to use the 2.5 Gbps WAN/LAN port on this router?

The 2.5 Gbps WAN/LAN port supports aggregated WAN connections up to 2 Gbps, so an internet plan delivering 2 Gbps or higher will fully utilise that port.

Will my older 802.11n and 802.11ac devices still connect to this router?

Yes, the router supports IEEE 802.11n up to 450 Mbps and 802.11ac up to 4333 Mbps, so older Wi-Fi devices remain compatible on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands.

How can I confirm the router is delivering Wi-Fi 6 speeds after setup?

Connect a Wi-Fi 6 client and check the link rate in the ASUS Router app or device settings; you should see rates up to 5700 Mbps when using 160 MHz channels on the 5 GHz band.
